If you happen to be on Elmwood for the Festival of the Arts today, make sure you move on down Elmwood for some Reggae fun.
Reggae
greats Third World are performing this Saturday, August 29
at the Cozumel Grill & Tequila Bar.
Music starts
at 3 PM, with Green Room (Jordan Fox’s band) and Neville Francis (local
reggae artist) opening for Third World, who will hit the stage at 7. If
you’re not familiar with Third World, one of their most popular songs is
“96 Degrees in the Shade,” which they have performed all over the
world.
According to
the owners of the Coz, they’ve done a big end of summer concert every year, and
this year, the regulars put in a call for reggae. It’s sure to be a great party!
A portion of
the $20 ticket proceeds will go to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The
Cozumel will be closing off the parking lot for the stage and the Red Stripe
bar. Enter to win a motorized Red Stripe Cooler.
