There is a condo for lease at Waterfront Place, where buyers only recently started closing on their units. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence is available for $2200/month. On the sales side, Ellicott Development has contracts out on 29 of the 48 units in the condominium tower. Three lower-floor buyers have finalized their purchases at prices ranging from $349,000 to $424,000.
Tower residences include 10 to 12′ ceilings, gourmet kitchens with custom cabinets and granite countertops, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, whirlpool tub and steam shower in master bathroom suites, and one or more balconies. Several units on the upper floors have rooftop terraces.
Units include dedicated parking spaces in a two-level enclosed garage and a separate storage unit in the building’s parking levels. A fitness center and board/meeting room are located in a two-story wing fronting Lakefront Boulevard.
Maureen Flavin of RealtyUSA is listing the rental unit:
BEAUTIFUL! BRAND NEW! Be the first to live in this upscale, downtown waterfront hi rise! Gorgeous waterfront view of Lake Erie from 18′ balcony. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths. There has historically been a number of Waterfront Village residences available for rent. But as the real estate market has cooled, many of the condos currently for sale are also being offered for lease.
Six other Waterfront Village homes are available for rent priced from $1700 for a 1,110 sq.ft. unit at Gull Landing to a 1,992 sq.ft., 7th floor unit at Admiral’s Walk for $2500. Waterfront Village rentals are at the top-end of the downtown market where the majority of loft units are priced in the $700-$1500 range.
Three of the four completed town houses at Waterfront Place have sold for $459,000 to $559,000. Ellicott Development is planning to build additional town house units at the site. One unit will be constructed to finish the first town house block (photo below). Future units will be smaller with lower rooflines and prices. Plans for a second tower are on hold for now.
