The Tishman Building overlooking Lafayette Square is back on the market. Less than a year after purchasing the 21-story building, owner Meyer Holtzman is listing it for sale on Loopnet for an undisclosed price.
Holtzman paid under $1 million for the then-vacant 198,600 sq.ft. office building that was constructed in 1959. It served as the long-time headquarters for National Fuel until the utility company abandoned downtown for Amherst in 2003. Leasing got off to a slow start, but Holtzman has recently signed at least one firm for almost a full-floor and is said to be negotiating with several other users.
Elsewhere downtown, the vacant Thaddeus J. Dulski Federal Office Building (scroll down) has yet to field a bid on the General Service Administrationis online auction website.
The 17-story, 391,000 square foot office building includes 180 underground parking spaces on 1.74 acres of land in the West Village.
Updating a post from last week, the Theater District parking lot at 690 Main Street is under contract according to the listing agent in Atlanta. Brian Hooker of CB Richard Ellis says the property is imoving quicklyi towards closing but would not reveal the buyer or their intended use. A sprawling 1.42 acre parking lot at 75 W. Huron just north of the Statler is also under contract. The agent would not disclose if the two properties have the same potential buyer.
