I recently posted a query on sub shops in Buffalo. One of my favorite places to pick up a sub is Wegman’s… even though I just ordered on from La Nova a few minutes ago (Wegman’s does not deliver yet). I read through the comments and pulled one out from Jonathan H., which mentions Quizno’s:
Nothing beats a turkey club at Jim’s at say 3am. But for chain restaurants, the Quizno’s prime rib sub is really tasty. Subway is probably the worst option you can go to.
Now I have never eaten a Quizno’s sub, so I’m curious as to what makes them so good. Anyway, the City of Buffalo’s first Quizno’s sub shop is nearing completion (located at Main and North – former gas station), and I have heard through the grapevine that their sandwiches are worth trying. I am sure that I will stick with the locals down the road, but hey, there’s no reason not to try it out. So what are some suggestions from those of you out there that have tried Quizno’s? Are their subs really that good?
