The Neighborhood Preservation Collaborative tonight will host a night of music and community, Preservation Blues to benefit the Neighborhood Preservation Collaborative Gap Fund.
The Gap Fund concept was created to assist those with low-incomes in the repair of their homes, located in preservation districts throughout the city. Hosted by WGRZ-TV/Channel 2’s Andy Parker, a preservation district resident, Preservation Blues will create the needed seed monies to show community support for the concept to future funders, whether government or private foundations.
For the beer connoisseur, Preservation Brew, crafted by Flying Bison Brewery, will be launched and served on tap at this event. You can also take home Preservation Brew as six-packs will be available for purchase that evening with all proceeds from the sale going directly to the Gap Fund. Additional libations include a wine-tasting from Chateau Buffalo and donations of hors d’oerves and other nibblies are being provided by the Bijou Grille and Salsarita’s.
Outstanding local musician Jim Sansone will be there, too, performing blues and jazz for a night of good will and good old Buffalo partying!
Noa Bursie is performing as well with a possible jam session between her and Jim Sansone’s trio.
The Landmark Society and West Village Renaissance Group are also sponsors for the event. Two new additions to the restaurant list include Tempo and Amaryllis!!
Admission to this event will be $30.00 for general admission and $20.00 for Students and Seniors. Tickets are available online at NepTix.com. They can be purchased at New World Record at 765 Elmwood Avenue.
