Established in 1953, Casa-di-Pizza has been a staple on the Elmwood Strip for quite some time. You can’t miss the place these days due to the oversized ‘pizza dish‘ perched on the restaurant’s roof. A couple years ago the pizzeria went through some remodeling, and one of the improvements to the inside took place in the area that sits between JJ’s Bar and Casa’s take-out area. The pizza bar always has a number of prepared pizzas (white, chicken-finger, steak) ready to go at any given time. There is a seating area for those that can spare a few minutes, or customers can be in and out in a flash if they want to take a slice to go.
The pizza bar also has a salad bar for those looking to have a side salad with their slice. So what if you want to pick up a slice for lunch, but you have not planned dinner and won’t have time to cook? Easy! Casa now prepares and packages frozen meals, which you can take home and heat up in your microwave. The dinners are priced from $5-$8 and include ribs, meatloaf, penne, spaghetti, lasagna, stuffed shells, and eggplant parm dinners. Now that’s handy.
Casa is located at 477 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo. Call for delivery @ 716-883-8200.
