Narrated Concert: Sheis Got the Dancing Fever Bad: Popular Music and the Emergence of Women, 1900-1925. Using recordings, music historian Michael Lasser will explore the changing role of women as they emerged from Victorian restraints to new freedom in the early 1900s. Lasser is host of the nationally syndicated public radio program Fascinatini Rhythm.

Lecture: Vincent van Gogh. Often portrayed as a tragic hero, Vincent van Gogh was also a prolific artist, creating more than 2,000 artworks in ten years. Curator of Education Mariann Smith will explore van Goghis life and work, from his beginnings in Holland to his time in southern France.
