The hot spot at this years annual Buffalo Home & Garden Show will be the renovation and decoration of a historic firehouse, reflecting Buffalos phenomenal architecture heritage as well as the heated interest in loft living and creative conversions. Three-Alarm Style describes the eclectic mix of new furnishings, vintage memorabilia, and classic architecture in this 21st Century conversion. Thanks to the Buffalo Professional Firefighters Union, as well as firefighters from communities throughout Western New York, our local heroes will provide cooking and fire safety demonstrations. Firehouse living is a first for the areas oldest and largest home and gardening showcase, which will take place at the Buffalo Convention Center from Saturday, March 4 through Sunday, March 12.
In addition to ideas, advice and the latest in home improvement and gardening products, the firehouse theme is reflected in a collectible poster created especially for the Show. This limited edition collectible was designed by Michael Morgulis of Local Color Gallery, who has created countless images of the Queen City over the years. Part of the proceeds of the sale will benefit the Buffalo Firefighters Guardian Foundation, which provides resources to equip and protect Buffalo Firefighters and to offer support to family members in the even of catastrophic injury, illness or death.
The Buffalo Convention Center will be the one place to shop, compare and save on every home improvement and gardening project under the sun during the Shows nine-day run. In addition to the firehouse theme and participation of local firefighters, other experts will offer problem-solving solutions to common and not so common home and garden questions.
