“The Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour” featuring Fall Out Boy, supported by The All American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights and From First to Last, will be taking over the HSBC Arena on Friday April 21, 2006 at 6:30PM.
Fall Out Boy formed in Chicago out of the ashes of different hardcore bands. They are known for their dynamic blend of surging guitars, slamming drums and longing vocals. Grammy nominated for Best New Artist, Fall Out Boy is touring in support of their hit album From Under the Cork Tree, which features the smash hit “Sugar, We’re Going Down”.
Supporting Fall Out Boy are The All American Rejects. Known for hits such as “Swing, Swing” and “Dirty Little Secret”, the band’s hard/fast sound is made by a couple of rockers from Stillwater, Oklahoma who like to expose their soft side. Bells, drum machines, florid pianos, and lyrics about long summer nights aren’t exactly the pillars of punk rock, but in the world of the All-American Rejects, they serve a purpose.
Hawthorne Heights will also being joining in support. Formed out of a desire to play music that the members were fervent about, their debut release from Victory Records The Silence In Black and White contains songs of frustration, personal growth and evolution creating the perfect melting pot of different musical tastes.
Rounding out the bill will be From First To Last. FFTL’s magnetic fusion of influences like hardcore, rock & roll, blood curdling metal and punk rock takes on a life all its own in their latest album, Dear Diary; My Teen Angst Has A Body Count featuring the single “The One Armed Boxer vs. The Flying Guillotine”.
