Mark that date on your calendar as the day that Thom Thomasula (photo) and a number of other bike enthusiasts took advantage of this 56 degree day by breaking out their rides. As a matter of fact, Thom also had his ’99 custom Harley low-rider out last week too. Thom told me, “As long as the salt on the roads is not too damp, and the days are as warm as they have been (for mid-winter), then I’ll take the bike out the first chance I get.” He’s been getting a good number of chances to show off this beautiful bike while getting some fresh air as well. Normally a Ski-Doo is the only fun-lovin’ transportation of choice in January. I can’t imagine that the Ski-Doo trails are very welcoming at the moment anyway. I know that there are a lot of people out their praying for snow, but as long as it’s not fallin’ you might as well consider you options.
