Rally in Johnson Park: If we can show a strong support this evening from all districts of our city, maybe we can make this a bi-annual or quarterly event. So many neighborhood-based victories have been experienced throughout our city. Along with those victories come some downfalls. There is a battle being fought to restore our neighborhoods one by one. This is an opportunity to share stories and experiences to empower both individuals and collective block organizations throughout Buffalo. We have contacted the New Phoenix and they said there may be some rather large puppets on the Green this evening. We have also extended invitations to all of you who may have musical talents. We always wanted a city-wide jam session – this would be the perfect time for it.
Let’s celebrate our diversity, the myriad of cultures, sounds, sights, smells, colors – they all combine to make a rich tapestry that we call Buffalo. -Johnson Park Neighborhood Association
